You are invited to come along to Visit Highworth on the first Saturday of each month between 11am and 1pm and meet some of the artists and crafters whose work we sell. It is totally free to attend, watch and chat to the makers.

4 JulyStone Dove - reclaimed leather accessories 
Come and meet Charlie Bayliss the maker behind the Stone Dove brand. Based in the beautiful town of Lechlade-on-Thames just 4 miles away from Highworth Stone Dove use reclaimed and responsibly sourced materials to hand make beautiful bags and accessories. Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm to chat to Charlie and find out about her work. |

ARTIST of the MONTH
There are many talented artists that display their work in the VHL centre. As a new feature this year we have an additional hanging wall were we will exhibit the work of an individual artist each month.
Exhibitions showing this Summer ...
Ann HughesExhibition 
A selection of vibrant and creative acrylic and collage works by local Artist Anne Hughes. A self taught artist, Anne enjoys experimenting with colour and texture. She mainly uses acrylic paint and inks but loves to add other mediums to make collages. Date: 1 - 30 May |
Christine PurdyExhibition 
During June enjoy an extended exhibtion featuring the work of popular local artist Christine Purdy. Christine's love of colour and lively and vibrant style are reflected in her work, giving her paintings a slightly quirky edge. Her work is painted mainly in watercolour and acrylic but she loves to diversify with other mediums. Date: 1 - 30 June |
Diane HainesExhibition During July VHL will feature an exhibtion featuring the work of animal artist Diane Haines. Date: 1 - 31 July |
WORKSHOPS at VHL
We are lucky to be able to draw on the talents of our local artists and artisans to provide a varied range of workshops and classes at our Arts and Crafts Centre in the VHL Shop. Events will be available throughout the year. Early booking is advised as places are limited.

MINI MAKES at VHL
For those who would like a shorter day time event, to come along and get an introduction to a new craft or hobby, we are pleased to offer a varied range of afternoon Mini Make sessions at our Arts and Crafts Centre in the VHL Shop. Events will be available throughout the year. Early booking is advised as places are limited.

VHL CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
On 28 November, as part of the Tree Lighting Celebrations celebrations, Visit Highworth are running a Craft Fair in St. Michael's Church.

VHL Christmas Craft FairVisit Highworth will be showcasing locally made arts and crafts in the lovely venue of St Michael's Church, just a step off the High Street. The event coincides with the Highworth Town Council Christmas Lights Event in the Market Square and along the High Street. Entry Price: FREE
