At VHL we are turning our attention to the coming Autumn season with a series of Artist of the Month<\/strong> exhibitions, a concert by the Brewery Street Buskers<\/strong> and a new Paint and Prosecco<\/strong> workshop led by local artists Christine Purdy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August and September<\/strong> – local Highworth artist Ann March<\/strong> exhibits her latest work, come and chat to Ann at a Meet the Maker session on 5 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

October <\/strong>– exhibition of work by Sue O’Connell<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

November <\/strong>– photographer Lee Hiom<\/strong> shows his work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

December <\/strong>– Cathy Lowe<\/strong> (Dragonflies) will be displaying her artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

January and February<\/strong> – digital artist Gill Olney<\/strong> visits from Cricklade to mount an exhibition of her work.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Brewery Street Buskers Concert<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following on from last year’s successful concert the Brewery Street Buskers are very kindly going to perform in another evening concert in aid of Visit Highworth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show will be held at the Community Centre on Saturday 26th September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 7.30pm. With a licensed bar and a raffle tickets are \u00a310 each and can be purchased from the VHL shop. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Paint and Prosecco Workshop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our every popular Paint and Prosecco<\/strong> workshop with Christine Purdy returns this Autumn with an event from 7pm to 9pm on the evening of Tuesday 20 October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grab a paint brush in one hand and a glass of Prosecco (or No-secco) in the other and follow Christine’s excellent instruction as she guides you through the production of your very own watercolour masterpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All materials are provided and no experience is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Places cost \u00a335 per person<\/strong> and you can book via Visit Highworth by calling in or giving us a ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
