The popular idiom and song lyric from the Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway musical “Carousel” used to describe the explosive, joyful, and bustling arrival of early summer, the landscape is rapidly coming alive with blooming flowers, warm weather, and restless energy fuels a desire to get out and do something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well there is plenty to do in Highworth over the coming month with the Jazz Festival on the 6th June, closely followed by a whole week of exciting events during the Highworth Arts & Literature Festival which runs from the 13th to the 21st June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20 – 21 June<\/strong> you can see the work of 15 local artists in the United Reformed Church on the High Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be over 60 hanging works on show, all for sale, plus ceramics and many unframed originals and prints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
